A Little History. A Lot of Heart. Hi, I'm Kay! I've been working in the hair industry since 2003 and opened Limelight Studio in 2017 with the idea of creating a different kind of salon experience. One where creativity, individuality, wellness, and genuine connection could all exist together. I've always been drawn to the unconventional and love helping people express themselves in ways that feel authentic to who they are. My work ranges from color and customized haircuts to dreadlocks, which have become a particularly meaningful part of my career. My background in yoga and Reiki has also shaped the way I approach my work. I believe a hair appointment can be about more than just your hair. Sometimes it's a chance to slow down, reconnect, or simply enjoy a little time for yourself. I'm thoughtful about the products I use and the businesses I support, leaning toward more natural approaches and brands that align with my values. Today, Limelight is my independent business within Fern, a shared salon space built around creativity, connection, and community. Come as you are. Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled within 48hrs of the appointment day are subject to a fee. Fees range from a minimum of $25 up to 100% of appointment.
No show appointments are charged 100% and a deposit may be required for future bookings.
